Pierre Tremblay was born around 1626 in Randonnai, Orne, France. Son of Philibert Tremblay and Jeanne Coignet-Lebreuil, he married Anne-Ozanne Achon, daughter of Jean and Hélène Regnaud-Renaud, on October 2, 1657 in Quebec City. They had 12 children. Arriving in Quebec in 1647, he first worked as an indentured servant for Noël Juchereau, before becoming a farmer. In 1659, we find him at the Ange-Gardien. In 1667, he owned 2 horned cattle and 9 acres of land. In 1678, he rented land and a house in Baie St-Paul for 5 years. He died in an unknown place before 5 Nov. 1689, the date of the marriage contract of one of his daughters.
