Son of Macia Nadeau and Jeanne Despins, he married Marguerite Abraham, daughter of Abraham Godgaud and Denise Fleury, on November 6, 1665. From their union were born five children. He arrived in the country in 1661 and settled down in Sainte-Famille,Île d'Orléans. In 1667, he has 7 acres of land under cultivation. He died on February 10, 1677 at this location. Upon his death, his house, his land and his shed were valued at 900 pounds, and his personal property at 535 pounds.

Ozanie-Joseph Nadeau-Lavigne was born circa 1637 à Genouillac, Charente, France. Son of Macia Nadeau and Jeanne Despins, he married Marguerite Abraham, daughter of Godgaud and Denise Fleury, on November 6, 1665. The location of the marriage is unknown. They had 5 children. He came to New France in 1661 and was confirmed there in 1662, in Château-Richer. In 1663, he settled in Ile d'Orleans. In 1671, he was generous the Hôtel-Dieu's nuns for rendered services. He died on February 10, 1677 and was buried in l'Ile d'Orléans, two days later.

Jean-Baptiste Nadeau was born circa 1668 in Gué-de-Velluire, Vendée, France. Son of Jean, a miller, and Marie Raffel, he married Marie-Anne Dumont, daughter of Julien and Catherine Taupsen on October30, 1696 in Ile d'Orléans. From this union were born 10 children. Firs, he lived in St-Michel-de-Bellechasse where his 6 first children were baptized. Then, he settled in Berthier. Even though it is said that he was a miller like his father, nothing proved he had worked as one. He died on December 24, 1745 and was buried in Berthier-sur-Mer the next day. Hi children were present at his burial.
