Pioneers of the Gauthier family

Pierre Gauthier: born about 1699 in Le-Poiré-sur-la-Roche (now called Le-Poiré-sur-Vie) in Vendée, France. Son of Charles Gauthier and Catherine Arnaud, he marries Marie-Marguerite Bourdelais-Arcan on October 31st 1723 in St-Joseph, Deschambault, Québec. From their union, 11 children were born. They live in Deschambault. He died on April 9th, 1756 and he is buried on April 10th, 1756 in St-Joseph, Deschambault.
