WINDSOR, CT— Rita G. (Tremblay) Lemery, 88, of 44 Poplar Drive, died Friday, June 24th in her home. Her husband Roger C. Lemery died in 1989. She leaves many nephews and nieces, and was predeceased by 4 brothers; Elzear Tremblay, Jr., Josephant, Doneldo and Leodore Tremblay and 4 sisters; Fidelia Alexander, Adorea Jalbert, Florinda Boucher and Ida Lataille. She was born in Southbridge, the daughter of Elzear and Olivine (Varin) Tremblay, was a graduate of Mary E. Wells High School, and had lived in Windsor for many years. Mrs. Lemery had worked for 20 years at American Optical and retired from Hartford Hospital after 23 years of service. She had been a member of St. Joseph’s Parish in Windsor. The funeral is Wednesday, June 29th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 11:00 AM in Blessed Sacrament Church, 555 Pleasant Street. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Mausoleum. A calling hour will be held from 9:30 until 10:30 AM the day of the funeral.
