FREEMAN _ Donna Annette (Ryder) Peacefully went home to her Heavenly Father on September 29, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. She will be sorely missed by the many people whose lives she touched over the years. There never was a person with a kinder heart who was always concerned for her fellowman. She loved her family dearly and willingly sacrificed for them. She was born 24 February 1961 in Calgary. She resided mainly in Alberta and B.C. Her great faith sustained her through the many difficulties of life. She will be sorely missed by her family: husband Douglas, children: Lionel, Brock, Moriah, Jonathan and Nathaniel; her parents Ann Pifer, Wayne Ryder; siblings: Penny, Corrina, Jay, Brett, Michael; grandmother Doris Brooks; Aunt Christine and many cousins. She was predeceased by her brother Waynee in 1993, cousin Darby Tokairin 1996, and Uncle John Pifer in 2007. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 3 at 10:00 a.m. in Fort Macleod at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (643 - 20 Street). The burial and Graveside Service will be held in Calgary at 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 3 at Rockyview Garden of Peace Cemetery (16 Avenue and 100 Street N.E.).
