Zora L. Leclerc 1940 - 2011 HAMPDEN - Zora L. (Edwards) Leclerc, 71 of Hampden died October 27, 2011 at Wing Memorial Hospital, Palmer. She was born March 17, 1940 in Newton Grove, NC the daughter of the late Luby and Clevia (Thornton) Edwards. Zora was a graduate of Clinton, NC High School and had attended Springfield Technical Community College. She was employed as a Librarian's Assistant for the Town of Ludlow,and was a member and former president of PTA .She was a former Ludlow resident, residing in Hampden since 1996. Over the years Zora was a soccer coach, clothing designer and fan of anything her family participated in. She was a crafts person and enjoyed many craft fairs. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her siblings Donnie and Garnie Edwards and Gloria Page. Zora will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her including her husband of 53 years, Lawrence E. Leclerc, her son Steve Leclerc and his wife Felicia, her daughters, Ellen Rose Leclerc and Teresa Kennedy, her 3 grandchildren, Conrad and Cherise Leclerc and Mason Kennedy all of Hampden. There are no visiting hours and all funeral arrangements are private for the family. Interment will be at Harnett Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Clinton, NC.
