FREEMAN, THOMAS JOHN, 56, died Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. He was born September 2, 1954 in Buffalo, NY, a longtime resident of Louisville and then Westport, KY. Tom was a beloved and devoted husband, a Christian and a devoted employee of Kentucky-Indiana Lumber Company for 30 years. Tom was a member of the Friends of Westport and a member of the Century Boat Club. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Ann O'Shea Freeman and his father, Walter M. Freeman. Tom is survived by his wife of 18 years, Vicki M. Freeman; his sisters, Patricia Freeman Nelson (Jim) and Vicki L. Freeman; his brothers, John Link Freeman and Adam Freeman and his mother, Sherry Freeman; nephews, Jamie and Conner Nelson; aunts, Billie Jane Cunningham and Hallie O'Shea; and cousins. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday at Pearson's, 149 Breckenridge Lane, with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation is noon-8 p.m. Thursday. Memorials may be made to the James Graham Brown Cancer Center.
