-> Mrs. Rosa Davis Jackson, 93, died June 12, 2004 at home under Hospice care. Mrs. Rosa Davis Jackson was born in Pocataligo, SC. but spent most of her adult life in Savannah. She was a member of Second Ebenezer Baptist Church. She served on the Church Deaconess Board. She is preceded in death by her husband Prince A. Jackson, Sr.; one son, James M. Davis; step-daughters, Hester Jackson, Margie Soelter; step-son William C. Jackson. Survived by daughters, Mary Smalls of New York City and Cathy Davis of Fairmont, West Virginia; step-son, Dr. Prince A. Jackson, Jr. and wife Marilyn; brother, James Davis; devoted niece, Barbara A. Davis; devoted nephew, Richard Davis; sister -in-laws, Rebecca Davis, Elizabeth Davis and Helen Williams; brother-in-law, Nathaniel Hardy; devoted cousins, Lena Fields, Mamie Lou Powell, Florence Miller all from Savannah; godson, George Kennedy from Suitland, MD.; seven grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousin oth er relatives and friends.
