She was a member of Second Ebenezer Baptist Church. She served on the Church Deaconess Board. She is preceded in death by her husband Prince A. Jackson, Sr.; one son, James M. Davis; step-daughters, Hester Jackson, Margie Soelter; step-son William C. Jackson. Survived by daughters, Mary Smalls of New York City and Cathy Davis of Fairmont, West Virginia; step-son, Dr. Prince A. Jackson, Jr. and wife Marilyn; brother, James Davis; devoted niece, Barbara A. Davis; devoted nephew, Richard Davis; sister -in-laws, Rebecca Davis, Elizabeth Davis and Helen Williams; brother-in-law, Nathaniel Hardy; devoted cousins, Lena Fields, Mamie Lou Powell, Florence Miller all from Savannah; godson, George Kennedy from Suitland, MD.; seven grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousin oth er relatives and friends.
