Nadeau, Robert E.Aug. 4, 1923 - July 24, 2011Robert E. "Bob" Nadeau, 87, of Sarasota, formerly of Canandaigua, N.Y. died July 24, 2011.Visitation will be held from 9 - 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home. Services will be held graveside at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sarasota Memorial Park. Survivors include his daughters, Lisa Wells of Rose Hill, N.C., Patti Horvath of Sarasota; a brother, Donald of Fairfax, Va.; sisters, Virginia of Port Gibson, N.Y., Betty of Bloomfield, N.Y. and Beatrice of Pennsylvania; five grandchildren; three great grandsons;former wife, Suzanne and sons-in-law, Tim Horvath and Josey Wells.Bob was preceded in death by his second wife, Julia.He served in the U.S. Army during WWII as a Radioman in Europe and owned his own auto repair shop until retiring in the early 80's.Bob was a multi-gallon blood donor, and usher at Presbyterian Church of the Covenant..He will be remembered fondly by his family.
