Raymond Freeman, a resident of Danbury and formerly of New Rochelle, died on August 23, 2006. He was 62. Mr. Freeman was born on March 24, 1944 in New Rochelle to the late Patrick and Mary Frances (Bergner) Freeman. He served in the US Army during Vietnam and worked as a Harbor Patrolman in New Rochelle before his retirement. He was a member of the American Legion Post 8 and Post 1505. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He is survived by two sisters, Mary Eberle of Florida and Patricia Roberts of Rockland County and a brother-in-law Stephen Salvatore of Connecticut. He is predeceased by a brother, Thomas Freeman Sr, and two sisters Eileen O'Keefe and Frances Salvatore. He is survived by many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Visiting Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9PM at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons BeauChamp Chapel, 16 Shea Pl. New Rochelle. Mass Saturday 10:30 AM at Blessed Sacrament Church.
