November 3, 2003 Nicholas Andrew Nadeau, 25, of Baldwinsville, died Monday as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident in 1996. Nicholas was born in Troy, NY, and moved with his family to Syracuse in 1981. In 1997 Nicholas was a resident of UniversityHospital in Syracuse and was then cared for by his family at home until nine months ago when he entered the Walsh Intermediate Care Facility in Rome. He attended the Charles W. Baker High School in Baldwinsville and worked as a part-time cook for more than a year at the Holiday Inn on Farrell Rd. Prior to the accident Nicholas aspired to study at the Culinary Institute of America in Poughkeepsie. Nicholas is the son of Clement E. and Christine E. (Hope) Nadeau of Baldwinsville, a brother of Jason Nadeau of N. Syracuse, Christopher Nadeau of Liverpool and Jill Nadeau of Jersey City, NJ, and the grandson of Aurelia Hope of Troy and the late Clement and Myrtle Nadeau and William Hope. Nicholas was deeply loved by the many hearts he touched. The family will celebrate his life during a private ceremony.
