Mary Lou Freeman, a longtime resident of White Plains and former resident of New Rochelle departed this life February 14, 2008 after a lengthy illness. Born July 5, 1929 to the late John T and Elouise (Silverthorn) Spencer in New Rochelle where she graduated the public schools. Married to Herbert W.Freeman who predeceased her. Retired as an Executive Assistant in the Chemical Manufacturing Industry. A member of Bethesda Baptist Church of New Rochelle, the Senior Choir; NAACP;Greenburg Housing Auth.;Volunteer YWCA Literacy Program.Family to receive friends Tuesday, Bethesda Baptist Church 71 Lincoln Ave.,New Rochelle 11am to 12noon. Funeral 12noon. Interment White Plains Rural Cem. Predeceased by sister's Mildred Tolbert and Ethelrie Richardson; brother's John and William Spencer. Arrangements Barney T. McClanahan F.H.,Inc.
