FREEMAN Mary Daphne Brown Freeman, 85, passed away April 10, 2009. She was born November 12, 1923 in Ft. Benning, GA to John and Sallie Brown. A long time resident of Jacksonville she was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Jacksonville Beach. Family members include her son, Robert “Bob” Freeman of Pembroke Pines, FL; daughter, Peggy Roberts of Jacksonville, FL; sister, Stella Louise Stott of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Melissa (Sean) Cadet of Kapolei, HI, Matthew (Julie) Roberts of Jacksonville, FL and Pam (Todd) Lauren of Asheville, NC; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 niece and 4 nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Henry Freeman; parents and 2 brothers and 2 sisters. A memorial service will be held at 11am, Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1423 8th Ave. N., Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church or Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Road Jacksonville, Florida 32257.
