Postmaster of Russell After a courageous battle with cancer, peacefully surrounded by her family at the Hospice at Maycourt on Monday, January 14, 2002. Marie Therese Lillian Belisle of Greely in her 62nd year. Loving wife of Maurice Belisle, caring mother of Raymond Belisle (Lee), Colette Hutten (Hans), and Michele Dunphy (Keith) and proud grandmother of Erik, Ian, and Lee. Sister of the late Anita Lavictoire, Gerald Lafontaine, Helene Vendette, Gilles Lafontaine, Pauline Ganey, Nicole Danis, Bernard Lafontaine and Maurice Lafontaine. Daughter of the late Toussaint Lafontaine and the late Rachel Villeneuve. Friends and family may pay their respects at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road on Wednesday, January 16 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on January 17 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Visitation Church on Highway 31 in South Gloucester. The family would like to thank Dr. Trahan, Dr. Cripps, the staff at the Cancer Clinic and the staff and volunteers at the Hospice at the Maycourt for their care and compassion.
