TREMBLAY, Margaret Regina(nee Oppelt)1923 - 2014It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Margaret on August 16, 2014 at the age of 90. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Brenda Osborne (Greg), son Jerry Tremblay (Gale), son Bruce Elder (Marilyn), her grandchildren, and numerous family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Michael Tremblay, her son Donald Tremblay, her daughter Shirley Commandeur, and her son-in-law Jerry Commandeur. Margaret was very passionate about cooking and also had a love for art including her own original works. A celebration of life for Margaret will be held at Evergreen Funeral Chapel at 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton, Alberta, on Friday, August 22, 2014 at 2 p.m. with viewing one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Cross Cancer Institute. A special thanks to the staff at Laurel Heights Retirement Centre for their care and support.
