MANCHESTER -- Lucienne R. Tremblay, 78, died March 11, 2009, at her home, surrounded by her family following a long illness. She was born Aug. 2, 1930, in Megantic, P.Q., Canada, to Henri and Merilda (Philiponte) Rattelade. She was educated in Canada. She was a resident of Manchester since 1962. Previously she lived in Berlin. She was a dedicated homemaker and mother. She worked as a seamstress at Mighty Mac. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and needlepoint. She loved gardening and cooking for others. IN HER LIFE: She is survived by three sons, Mario Tremblay of Manchester, Denis Tremblay and his wife, Susan, of Candia, and Jacques Tremblay and his wife, Linda, of Candia; her daughter, Doreen Morgan of Manchester; six grandchildren; a great grandson; a brother, Marcel Rattelade of Notre Dame des Bois, P.Q., Canada; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Rene O. Tremblay, who died in 1994. SERVICES: Calling hours are Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St., Manchester. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony Church, Belmont Street, Manchester. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to VNA Hospice, 33 South Commercial St., Suite 401, Manchester 03101. Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium is in charge of arrangements.
