FORT KENT - Lucie (Thibodeau) Nadeau, 86, died peacefully Sept. 14, 2011, at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born Feb. 8, 1925, in St. Francois, New Brunswick, daughter of Michel and Julie (Bouchard) Thibodeau. Lucie's favorite pastimes were fishing, knitting and cooking. She is survived by 10 children, Therese and her husband, Roger Bouchard, of St. Francois, New Brunswick, Yves and his wife, Rinette Nadeau, of Fort Kent, Donald and his wife, Beverly Nadeau, of Fort Kent, Gisele and her husband, Gaetan St. Onge, of Courtice, Ontario, Jeannel and his wife, Theresa Nadeau, of Fort Kent, Micheline and her husband, Brian Albert, of Sinclair, Bertrand and his wife, Pauline Nadeau, of Clair, New Brunswick, Cleo and his wife, Diane Nadeau, of Winterville, Mona and her husband, Patrick Fournier, of Grand Prairie, Alberta, and Guy and his wife, Louise Nadeau, of Wallagrass. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Lucie was predeceased by her husband, Lionel Nadeau, Oct. 16, 2006; four sisters, Imelda Michaud, Camilla Sandon, Juliette Lizotte and Eva Ouellette; and two brothers, Edmond and Camille Thibodeau. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday and 8-9:30 a.m. Tuesday until time of service at Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Burial will be at the parish cemetery at a later date.
