Born March 12, 1941, in Rochester to the late Phyllis and Richard Burns, Linda grew up in Irondequoi and graduated from Franklin HS ('59) and SUNY Potsdam ('63). Linda taught elementary school at Terry Taylor in Spencerport for over 25 years. In retirement, she traveled extensively and was involved and cared about her community (Paul Harris Fellow from Spencerport Rotary). Her contagious laughter, quick wit and compassion will be remembered by many. Survivors include: husband of 49 years, Richard DuBois, of Spencerport & Spring Hill, FL; daughter Lisa DuBois Headley (Phil), grandson, William Headley, of Falls Church, VA; sister, Kathleen Burns, of Rochester; and many loving friends & extended family.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to The Rotary Foundation, 14280 Collections Ctr Dr., Chicago, IL 60693 or HPH Hospice Foundation, Donation Dept, 12107 Majestic Blvd., Hudson, FL 34667-2455.
