FREEMAN, John Mack (Jack)October 14, 1931 - May 20, 2012After 80 fun and loving years and a nine month struggle with cancer, Jack Freeman passed away on May 20, 2012 in Olds, Alberta. Right up to his passing, Jack was cared for by Nellie, his loving wife and closest friend for nearly 54 years. Jack is also survived by his son Tim (Shelley) and his daughter Laurie (Chris); along with the apples of his eyes - his four grandchildren - Noelle (Aaron), Eric, Adam and Sarah and one great-grandson Eli. Jack had a long and distinguished career with Horne & Pitfield/Sobey's where he retired as Vice President of Procurement after 38 years. Memorial Services will be held Monday, May 28, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Cyprian's Anglican Church, Didsbury, AB with Harold Hunter officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alberta Lung Cancer Foundation or the St. Cyprian's Memorial Fund.
