LAFONTAINE, Jean Charles February 21, 1923 - April 10, 2010 On April 10, 2010, suddenly yet peacefully at home in his eighty-seventh year. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, orchestral musician and music lover, Jean is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Ursula (nee Wilkinson), children Claire (Kelly Ryan), Robert, Paul, Lorraine (Frank Johns), Denis (Carolyn Littlejohns), Bernard, Richard (Marianne MacDonald), Fr. Raymond, Julie (Michael Johnston) and predeceased by his son Philip. He will be fondly remembered by his twenty grandchildren: Celina, Laurie, Kitara, Jenny, Michael, Carlo, Liana, Bruno, Josine, Miriam, Allyson, Louis, Suzy, Catherine, Daniel, Marc, Christopher, Erin, Lucas and Emily, as well as in-laws, friends and former colleagues of the MSO (1943-1972), and the many people with whom he shared his talent and love for music throughout his life.
