Jean-Anne Freeman, daughter of Kelly and Marguerite, died at 10 years old. Please consult the obituary here:
JEAN ANNE FREEMAN "JEAN" 1953 - 2003 Jean Freeman passed away in Monterey, Tennessee on Friday, January 23 after a painful, yet courageous, battle with cancer. Born and raised in West Palm Beach, Jean graduated from Forest Hill High School in 1971. After graduation, she traveled with friends throughout Europe. Jean then worked in dentistry for approximately 10 years. She also obtained her license and worked as a hair stylist in West Palm Beach. Jean also lived for a short-time in Oregon, and on a sailboat in the Bahamas where she cruised the islands for a year. During that time, she had the opportunity to tour Argentina. In 1998, Jean moved to Monterey to help care for her parents in their final years. Jean's beauty, inside and out, would light up a room. Her joy in every circumstance will continue to impact friends and loved ones for many years to come. She lived generously and spontaneously, always choosing to lend a hand no matter the cost or sacrifice. Our world has lost one of its best; but, Jean's beautiful and kindred spirit will live forever. Jean is predeceased by her parents, Kelly and Marguerite Freeman; and by her fianc233;, Mark Newby. She is survived by her sister and brother-in- law, Nancy and Bob Grubb; and nieces: Irene and Savannah Peek. Jean also leaves behind a host of loving friends who will miss her dearly. A memorial will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of North Palm Beach on Monday, February 17 at 7:00 PM. Friends are welcome to call upon Marsha Moerings, 622-8431; or Steve Surgeont, 743-4571.
