CONANT, Irene Florence - At Bluewater Health, Mitton Site, on Wednesday, May 10, 2007, Irene died peacefully with family by her side at the age of 79. Loved mother of Norm Conant and wife Melissa, Bob Conant and wife Kelly, Carol Girard and husband Ron, Doreen Rail, and Annette Conant. Proud grandmother of twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Elise and Adrien Dubois, her brothers Armand and Omer Dubois and grandson Travis. Irene was a member of the Women of the Moose and St. Joseph's CWL. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Monday, May 14th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Eugene Bugala at St. Joseph's Church on Tuesday, May 15th at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 714 Lite St., Pt. Edward N7V 1A6. Messages of condolence & memories may be left at www.mckenzieblundy.com A tree will be planted in memory of Irene Conant in the McKenzie & Blundy Memorial Forest.
