Always a voracious reader, she counted on the Edison Library to keep her supplied with the latest novels. She maintained her love of reading even as her health declined. The family thanks the staff of Wildwood Assisted Living Home and the Calhoun County Nursing Home, both in Edison; Arlington Hospital; and especially, Dr. Kocherla and his staff at the Robert Jennings Clinic in Arlington for their professional and tender care of "Miss Frances" through the years.Other survivors include three grandchildren, Crystal Hall Cole (and husband Francis) of Bar Harbor, Maine, Michael Hall (and wife Aase) of Victoria, British Colombia, and Kimberley Dawn Tscherter (and husband Alan); six great-grandchildren, Kai and Tsion Hall and Jeff, Alex, Ty and Nick Tscherter; three sisters-in-law, Clara Collier of Edison and Justine Rodgers and Martha Hall, both of Buena Vista; two brothers-in-law, Morill Hall (and wife Vera) of Athens and Roy Hall of Pensacola. She was known as "Aunt Frances" to her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
