CONWAY, S.C. - Eileen Dowd, 81, wife of the late James Dowd, of Cedar Ridge Lane, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at her residence. Mrs. Dowd was born in East Boston, Mass., a daughter of the late Charles Edward and Catherine Connolly Watts. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church and retired from Lucent Technologies. Mrs. Dowd was predeceased by a sister, Marie Simpson. Surviving are one sister, Kathleen Edwards, one sister-in-law, Eleanor Bartlett and several nieces and nephews.
