Douglas "Doug" E. Freeman, 44, of Greenville, died Wednesday, September 17, 2008.Mr. Freeman was born September 16, 1964 in Greenville to Lesley Ronnie Freeman and Betty Jones Freeman. He enjoyed life, family gatherings, dinners, gospel singing, and flowers and gardening. He was loved by everyone and love serving other. He was of the Methodist faith.Surviving, in addition to his parents, are one brother, Sammy Freeman; one nephew, Garrett Freeman; one niece, Savannah Freeman; several family members; and a very special cousin, Misty Jones.Visitation was 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, September 25, 2008, at Fletcher Funeral Service.Funeral Service was 4:15 p.m. Thursday, September 25, 2008, in the chapel of Fletcher Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Tommy Kay.
