Obituary of Daniel-L. Nadeau


Daniel L. Nadeau Saco - Daniel L. Nadeau, 47, a resident of Douglas Ave., passed away on Friday, Oct. 10, 2008, at Maine Medical Center in Portland. He was born on July 13, 1961 in Exeter, N.H., a son of Bruce and Annetta Hunter Nadeau. Daniel was a graduate of Windham High School class of 1979. He also graduated from University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computers. He later received an Associates Degree in Electronics. He was employed for many years by General Electric in Somersworth, N.H. He also worked for Control Devices / Sensata in Standish. Dan loved Disney World and was known as Disney Dan. He enjoyed building and repairing computers for his family and friends and going to the movies. Dan recently completed his fourth consecutive trek across Maine with his team Blazing Saddles for the American Lung Association. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family and friends. He is survived by his devoted wife of 20 years Kelley McGeehan Nadeau; two daughters, Carrie Ann and Megan Laura, one son, Alex David, his loving mother Annetta F. Roy; one brother, Bruce Nadeau Jr., two sisters, Sharon Morris and Lora Skibicki. He was Uncle Danny to numerous nieces and nephews Visiting Hours will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday at Cote Funeral Home, corner of Beach and James Streets, Saco. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Evangelist Church, 611 Main St, US Route 1, in South Portland. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Saco. Arrangements are by Cote Funeral Home, Saco.
