Doris Cason Freeman, 78, of 201 Oakland Way, died Friday, June 30, 2006.Born in Greenville, Mrs. Freeman was the widow of Eddis W. Freeman, Sr., and the daughter of the late William Randolph, Sr. and Elma Clary Cason. She was retired from Clear Springs Baptist Church where she was Church Secretary and was a very faithful member of First Baptist Church, Fountain Inn.She is survived by two daughters, Jayne Bridges and her husband, Dale, of Simpsonville, and Tanna Woodson and her husband, John, of Clinton; three sons, Eddis W. "Skipper" Freeman, Jr. and Tim V. Freeman, Sr., both of Simpsonville, and Scott F. Freeman and his wife, Angela, of Fountain Inn; six grandchildren, Carmen Bridges, Tim V. Freeman, Jr. and his wife, Leigha, Will Freeman, Carrie Woodson, Jordan Freeman, Paige Freeman; and a sister, Catherine Ward. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou "Mickey" Lockee; and three brothers, Randolph Cason, Bill Cason, and Charles Cason.Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, July 3, 2006, at First Baptist Church, Fountain Inn, with visitation from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Springwood Cemetery.Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Building Fund, 206 N. Weston Street, Fountain Inn, SC 29644.
