Brenda Gayle Foster Smith October 8, 1948 - June 22, 2014 Miami, FL- Services for Brenda Gayle Foster Smith are 11:00 AM Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Unity Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Brenda was born October 8, 1948 in Macon, GA to the late Nathaniel and Mildred Lane Foster. A brother Sherman F. Foster also preceded her in death. She attended the St. Peter Claver Catholic School and L. H. Williams Elementary School and was a 1966 graduate of Ballard Hudson High School. She attended Fort Valley State University, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and a Master's Degree in Guidance and Counseling. She later earned a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Nova University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Survivors include: sister, Rosalyn Foster (Rev. Ulysses J.) Finney; three nephews, Rodney Jerome Finney, Macon, Ronald Jerod Finney, Savannah and Nathan Foster, Macon; aunt, Sarah Gee, Macon; uncle, Charles Lane, Boston, MA and a host of relatives and friends.
