Brenda was born October 8, 1948 in Macon, GA to the late Nathaniel and Mildred Lane Foster. A brother Sherman F. Foster also preceded her in death. She attended the St. Peter Claver Catholic School and L. H. Williams Elementary School and was a 1966 graduate of Ballard Hudson High School. She attended Fort Valley State University, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and a Master's Degree in Guidance and Counseling. She later earned a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Nova University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Survivors include: sister, Rosalyn Foster (Rev. Ulysses J.) Finney; three nephews, Rodney Jerome Finney, Macon, Ronald Jerod Finney, Savannah and Nathan Foster, Macon; aunt, Sarah Gee, Macon; uncle, Charles Lane, Boston, MA and a host of relatives and friends.
