Betty Jean Freeman GREER, SC-- Betty Jean Freeman, of 867 Gilliam Road, Greer, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Cecil and Lillie Bell Burnett. She was a retired employee of Bausch & Lomb and a member of The New Hope Baptist Church. Betty was a graduate of Florence Chapel High School, Class of 1967. Surviving is a daughter, Shenika Freeman of the home; a granddaughter, Kayla Freeman of Hawaii; and a grandson, Christopher Willis of the home. She is also survived by four sisters, Ms. Mary Cohen of Greer, Mrs. Velma (Andy) Young of Duncan, SC, Mrs. Clara (AJ) Johnson of Woodruff, SC, Mrs. JoAnn (Isaac) Anderson of Wellford, SC; and two brothers, James Leroy Burnett of Greer and Robert (Diane) Burnett of Carrollton, VA. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 1:00 PM at The Fountain of Life Baptist Church in Spartanburg, SC. The family is at the home.
