ANN LAFONTA INE Ann LaFontaine, nee Williams, died in Stuart, Florida on November 14, 2010 after a year long illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Timothy LaFontaine. She is survived by: her sister-in law Margaret (Midge) Williams, her nieces Ann Williams and Martha Williams Locke and her nephew David (Gale) Williams, as well as seven great nieces and nephews: Emily, Allison, Chris, and Nick Williams and John, Shelby, and Christian Locke. Her parents, Hugh and Marie Williams, and her brother, John Williams, predeceased her. Ann was a Columbus girl and a proud 1937 journalism graduate of Ohio State University. Ann and Tim were long time supporters of Ohio State University having endowed several scholarships in her family's name. Ann was active in the Martin County Republican Party and was a member of the DAR in Martin County. She also volunteered at the Martin County Library. Ann was a lifelong learner and an indefatigable traveler having traveled to every continent except Antarctica. There will be no services.
