SOMERSWORTH — Alice Michaud, 93, formerly of 74 Washington St., died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2005, at the Epsom Manor in Epsom, N.H. following a period of failing health. She was born in South Berwick, Maine, June 11, 1911, the daughter of Henry and Clementine (Poitras) Pelletier. She was educated in local schools and had resided in South Berwick for many years, moving to Somersworth in 1975. She enjoyed cooking for her family and playing bingo. She was the widow of George Michaud, who died in 1990. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Clifton (Beatrice) Bartlett of Riverside, Calif., Mrs. Robert (Helen) Garneau and Mrs. Paul (Lillian) Michaud, both of Somersworth, two sons, Maurice Michaud and his wife, Jeanne, of Lewiston, Maine and Lucien Michaud and his wife, Judy, of Largo, Fla. eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Roberge Funeral Home, 298 High St., Somersworth. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Martin Church with Fr. Aaron Pfaff, pastor, as celebrant. Spring burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorials may be made to St. Martin Church or to the charity of one’s choice.
