Alice Clayton Jackson, 92, formerly of 693 Victor Hill Road, widow of Sammie Edward Jackson Sr., died Jan. 13, 2004, at Piedmont Nursing Center.A native of Spartanburg County, a daughter of the late Boyce and Janie Sandlin Clayton, she was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.Surviving are two daughters, Gaynell J. Mayfield, of Greer, and Jennette J. Chapman, of Mauldin; five sons, Earl Jackson, of Dunneville, Ontario, Canada, Joe L. Jackson, of Moore, Fred G. Jackson, of Cheraw, Edward Jackson, of Duncan, and Douglas E. Jackson, of Woodruff; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.Mrs. Jackson was the last surviving member of her immediate family.Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Mountain View Cemetery, conducted by the Rev.
