Alice Clayton Jackson, 92, formerly of 693 Victor Hill Road, widow of Sammie Edward Jackson Sr., died Jan. 13, 2004, at Piedmont Nursing Center.A native of Spartanburg County, a daughter of the late Boyce and Janie Sandlin Clayton, she was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.Surviving are two daughters, Gaynell J. Mayfield, of Greer, and Jennette J. Chapman, of Mauldin; five sons, Earl Jackson, of Dunneville, Ontario, Canada, Joe L. Jackson, of Moore, Fred G. Jackson, of Cheraw, Edward Jackson, of Duncan, and Douglas E. Jackson, of Woodruff; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.Mrs. Jackson was the last surviving member of her immediate family.Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Mountain View Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Ray Elder.Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 tonight at The Wood Mortuary.The families are at their respective homes.Memorials may be made to Greer Community Ministries (Meals on Wheels), P.O.
