Textile IndustryLAKE ALFRED -- Mr. Albert Henry Nadeau of Lake Alfred died of cancer Tuesday (July 25, 2006) at home. He was 90.Born in Somersworth, N.H., on July 24, 1916, he came to Lake Alfred from Rhode Island in 1987. He was a foreman and loom fixer in the narrow fabrics textile industry and a member of the Textile Union. He was a member of the Polish Falcons. He was an Army veteran of World War II and served in India. He was a Catholic.Mr. Nadeau was preceded in death by his wife, Stephanie Mary Forgiel Nadeau. He is survived by his daughters, Barbara Gabriau, Lake Alfred, Kathleen Fournier, Deltona, Linda Wilkeson, Baldwin; brother, Gerard Nadeau, North Carolina; sisters, Simone Verville, and Laura Bison, West Warwick, R.I.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
