John-E. Sanborn, né en 1914, conjoint de Frances Wilcox, fils de Arthur et Anne, père de John et Judy, est décédé le 7 octobre 2008 à l'âge de 93 ans. Veuillez consulter son avis de décès ici:
MANCHESTER -- John E. Sanborn, 93, died Oct. 7, 2008, at Veteran Affairs Medical Center, after a period of failing health. He was born in Exeter, Nov. 13, 1914, to Arthur and Anne (Dow) Sanborn. He resided in Amesbury, Mass., most of his life, before moving to Manchester in 2000. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He worked as a sheet metal mechanic at Portsmouth Naval Ship Yard for 32 years. He was a member of Blind Veterans Association and Disabled American Veterans Association. He was predeceased by his wife, Frances (Wilcox) Sanborn, on Feb. 14, 1995. Family members include a daughter, Judy Ferrer of Manchester; a son, John Sanborn; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Mabel Brown of Raymond; and several nieces and nephews. SERVICES: A graveside service will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in the N.H. State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Route 3, Boscawen, with the Rev. Douglas Rickard, officiating. Burial, with military honors, will follow. Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union St., Manchester, is in charge of arrangements. (www,connorhealy.com).
