Age 85, March 20, 2004 in Omaha, Nebraska. A member of the Buffalo Board of Realtors, Mrs. Thomas and her husband, Raymond W., were involved in many businesses, including Ray Thomas Real Estate. He died in 1991. She moved to Nebraska in 1995. The couple at one time operated the Peddler, an antique shop in Williamsville and Viray, a wholesale fish company on Hertel Avenue. Born in Chicago, Mrs. Thomas graduated from Bennett High School. She was a member of Central Park United Methodist Church and Clarence United Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Susan Krum of Omaha and Katherine T. Atkinson of Cranston, RI; a brother, John Taylor of Orchard Park; a sister Barbara Hager of Eureka Springs, AR; two grandsons; and two great-grandchildren. Family and friends will gather at 3:30 PM April 10 in Central Park Methodist Church, 216 Beard Ave. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery, Pendleton.
