Ruth Lowe Miles, 78, Punta Gorda, died June 26, 2002. She was born May 22, 1924, in Gardner and came to the Charlotte County area as a young child. Survivors include children Diann Macomber, Ernie, Donna Youse, Collette Tomlinson, and Ross; brothers and sisters Ben, Pete, Lum, Sim, Esther Russell, Ada M. Westberry, Frances Rogers, Mary Jo Rude, Velma Norton, and Delia; eight grandchildren; and one great- grandchild. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at Kays-Ponger/ Royal Palm Funeral Home, Punta Gorda Chapel. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Church of God of Prophecy in Punta Gorda. Burial will be in Indian Springs Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Southwest Florida, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238; or to Church of God of Prophecy, 662 Cooper St., Punta Gorda, FL 33950.
