Ruth Lowe Miles, 78, Punta Gorda, died June 26, 2002. She was born May 22, 1924, in Gardner and came to the Charlotte County area as a young child. Survivors include children Diann Macomber, Ernie, Donna Youse, Collette Tomlinson, and Ross; brothers and sisters Ben, Pete, Lum, Sim, Esther Russell, Ada M. Westberry, Frances Rogers, Mary Jo Rude, Velma Norton, and Delia; eight grandchildren; and one great- grandchild. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at Kays-Ponger/ Royal Palm Funeral Home, Punta Gorda Chapel. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Church of God of Prophecy in Punta Gorda. Burial will be in Indian Springs Cemetery.
