BEDFORD -- Pauline T. Vallee, 84, died July 22, 2008, at Elliot Hospital, Manchester, with her family by her side. She was born March 30, 1924, in East Blackstone, Mass., to Eugene and Alice Lemay. She earned her bachelor of science degree in nursing. She was a resident of Bedford for many years. She worked as a registered nurse at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester for 45 years. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting throughout the years. She loved going for her walks and reading. She especially loved cats and country music. She was predeceased by a son, Richard Vallee, in 1993. Family members include her husband of 62 years, Roland E. Vallee of NH Veterans Home, Tilton; three sons, Eugene Vallee, Philip Vallee of Hillsborough, and Marc Vallee of Bedford; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Patricia) Ballard of Manchester; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. SERVICES: Calling hours are Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St., Manchester. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel Saturday at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
