Linda Thomas KINGSTON - Linda Thomas, 62 of Wilbur Avenue, Kingston, died Tuesday Oct. 1, 2013 at the HealthAlliance Hospital, Broadway Campus. Born July 15, 1951 in Kingston, she was a daughter of the late LeRoy Sr. and Margaret (Munier) Thomas. Linda was employed as a school bus driver for Arthur Mulligan Bus Company and a Citibus driver for the City of Kingston. She was a devout person of faith who enjoyed spending time with her family, yard sales and doing puzzles. Surviving is her daughter, Jeanne Marie Thomas, aka Melissa McCormick aka Melissa Whitaker; her brothers and sister, LeRoy Thomas, Jr., Ruthann Salazar and Bob Thomas; grandchildren Alexandra Wood and Allison Wolfiel; her nieces and great-niece Lori Benjamin, Miranda Benjamin and Kelli Benjamin. Many other nieces and nephews also survive. Two sisters, Frieda Campbell and Peg Thomas died previously. Funeral and cremation arrangements are under the guidance of the Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home, Inc., 27 Smith Avenue. www.jvleahyfh.com Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial service will take place 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013 at Saint James United Methodist Church. Cremation to be held at Wiltwyck Crematory.
