AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Friday, April 4, 2003 at Doctors Hospital. Mrs. Johnnie Mae Thomas of Westlake Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 8, 2003 at noon from Ross Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Gordon A. Thomas officiating. Mrs. Thomas was a member of Ross Grove where she was past President of the Missionary Society. Survivors are three daughters, Joyce (Ozzie) Ford, Loretta (Roscoe) Frazier and Johnnie Lee Hampton; two sons, Larry (Joann) Carter, Sr. and Lawrence J. Carter, Sr.; five sisters, Florence Dunn, Wilhemina (John) Cummings, Nellie Pearl Daggett, Betty Jean Moore and Marilyn (John) McKinney; one brother, Ernest Yarbray, Jr.; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a special family friend, Sharon Oatman; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
