MANCHESTER - Claire T. Leclerc, 95, of Manchester, died peacefully on July 20, 2013, with her family by her side. She was born on June 23, 1918, in Manchester, the daughter of Laurent and Henriette (Lamontagne) Talbot. She was educated in local schools. Prior to retirement, Claire worked in a shoe shop and was an excellent seamstress who gave sewing lessons. She enjoyed cooking and baking. She opened her own business specializing in wedding and special occasion cakes. She was a member of St. Patrick's Ladies Guild and Mothers of Boy Scouts. Family members include her son, Richard R. Leclerc of Manchester; three grandchildren, Gary Leclerc, Brian Leclerc and Linda O'Keefe; six great- grandchildren, Casey Leclerc, Taylor Pelletier, Lauren Grimard, Tyler, Ryleigh and Cassie O'Keefe; and several nieces, nephew, aunts and cousins. She was predeceased by her daughter, Marie Sylvia Leclerc, in 1940; daughter-in-law Sylvia Leclerc; her grandson, Kevin Leclerc; her sisters, Germaine Labrie, Lillian Florand, Anita Tremblay and Adrienne Talbot; and her brother, Armand Leclerc. . services: Calling hours will be at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St., Manchester, on Wednesday from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Her funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Private interment will take place at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester. Donations in Claire's memory can be made to Maple Leaf Health Care, Residents Activity Fund, 198 Pearl St., Manchester 03104.
