MARTINEZ, Ga. - Ms. Betty Ann Cole Smith, 79, of Martinez, GA, formerly of Carrollton passed away Saturday, June 30, 2012 at University Hospital in Augusta, GA. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Anthony Van and Dr. Roxanne Scannon - Smith of Martinez, GA. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 3 at 11 A.M. at Pleasant View Baptist Church with Rev. Myles Brown and Rev. Tommy Frost officiating. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Road, 2nd Floor, Bethesda, Maryland 20814. Interment was in the Church Cemetery.
