Mrs. White attended Calvary Baptist Church of Childersburg; retired from Alabama Power with 24 years of service and was the secretary of Hollins Water Authority. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. White; parents, Robert H. and Jimmie Mae Cliett; sister, Mary Lindsey. Barbara is survived by her two sons, William (Rebecca) White and John (Cindy) White; four grandchildren, Cooper, Saylor, Olivia and Bradyn White; brother, William H. Cliett; also a host of extended loving family and friends. Funeral service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church 904 3rd St NW Childersburg, AL 35044 on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with burial in Valhalla Cemetery 839 Wilks Road Birmingham, AL 35228. Pastor Paul Hickman, Jr. will officiate the services. The family will receive friends at the church from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 18, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church in Childersburg.
