Payne, who died in 2007. She was a charter member of Good News Baptist Church.She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Shoff and husband, Eddie, of Fairview, three grandchildren, Candace, Lily and Michael; a sister, Josephine Sluder and husband, Bill, of Alexander; and six brothers, Robert Frisbee of Travelers Rest, SC, Carl Frisbee and wife, Madeline, of Fairview, Irvin Frisbee and wife, Jean, of Asheville, Howard Frisbee and wife, Nola, of Candler, Charles Frisbee and wife, Carol, of Candler and Sanford Frisbee and wife, Sandra, of Asheville.Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Good News Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Pisgah View Memorial Park.The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.Flowers will be appreciated or memorials may be made to Good News Baptist Church.The on-line register is available at www.grocefuneralhome.com.
