ROBINSON, Ian - at the age of 81, passed away suddenly Thursday, June 12, 2008 in Toronto. Born in Windsor, and raised in Paris Ontario by Ken and Ruth Robinson, Ian married one of Brantford's Mars triplets, Margaret. They had two children, Chris and Laura and lived in Brantford, Orillia, Kingston, and Toronto, before settling in London for last 45 years. Ian was a member of the Brantford Golf and Country Club and worked for Johnson's Wax, O'Keefe Brewing Company, and Hiram Walkers. Ian played tenor saxophone in many bands in and around Paris and Brantford. He is survived by his loving family; wife Margaret, son Chris and his wife Linda, daughter Laura and her husband Mark Ettlinger and his adoring grandchildren, Andy Robinson and Jack and Julia Ettlinger. His loving and generous spirit has been a constant inspiration for us all. A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 18th, 7 - 9PM at the A. MILLARD GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, 60 Ridout Street, South, London where funeral service will be held Thursday, June 19th, 1PM. Donations in Ian's name may be made to the Ontario Humane Society.
