PETERS Wilma Jane (nee Trathen) July 21, 1928 - October 8, 2007 Born in Onoway, Alberta and went to school at Lake Saskatoon. She passed away unexpectedly at the Langley Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Norman, son, Russel (Shirley), and daughter, Cheri. Survived by sisters, Irene Gordon, and Vera Wheeldon (Robin) and brother, Cecil Trathen. Predeceased by her brother Ralph Trathen, sister Muriel Jones, brother Gordon Trathen. Wilma was a loving grandmother to Chad, Trevor and Whitney. She will also be greatly missed by her extended family and many friends. Wilma worked with Sears Canada for over twenty years. They loved to dance at Kennedy Hall, many summer fishing at Bridge Lake and watching hockey as well as being with family and friends. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Arthritis Foundation would be appreciated. A special thank you to Dr. Allen and Langley Lodge for their wonderful care. A graveside interment will be held on Friday, November 2, 2007 at 11:00 am, followed by a Tea at Valley View Funeral Home, 14660 - 72nd Ave., Surrey, BC.
