Service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Morgan Funeral Chapel for Willie Thornhill Nelson, 101, Attalla, who died Thursday, July 24, 2008. Burial will be in Carnes Chapel Cemetery. Morgan Funeral Chapel and Crematory directing.Mrs. Nelson was a member of the Aurora Baptist Church and she was retired from Stewart's Nursing Home. Her favorite love and pastime was working in her garden and taking care of her beautiful flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Nelson; sons, Joe E. Nelson, Eugene Nelson, Charles Ray Nelson, Jack Nelson and James Nelson; and daughters, Marie Farless and Mavis Brown.She is survived by her daughters, Mae Nelson, Boaz, Ann Brown, Rainbow City, Sue Walden, Attalla, Carolyn Ashley, Rainbow City, and Ida (Sam) Noble, Reece City; sons, Arien (Sandra) Nelson and Benny (Susan) Nelson, Rainbow City; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.Pallbearers are grandsons and great-grandsons.Special thanks to Dr. K.J.
